Forgive or Forget - The Dilemma

Forgive and Forget are two different words but they are usually always used together.  You may not have realised but these two words are always used one after the other. Whenever you make a mistake, Arrey maaf kar de yaar (Please forgive me) Chal na, ab bhul jaa sab kuch (Now please forget everything) See, I proved my point there already! There is an old saying - Forgive and Forget! But are you sure you always pertain to it? Well in retrospect I as an individual believe in this concept but it’s quite difficult to follow it ahead somehow.  If there is even one memory that can remind me of an incident that hurt me, that makes it difficult to forget. We do forgive the person related to it, but there is always that memory we cling on too.  Do you know the reason behind this? It is because we are told to learn from our mistakes and not repeat them again. We need to cling on to the memory of that one mistake so that we do not repeat it all over again. Missing the yearly ritual

The anticipated yearly ritual came to a halt this year 😔  The pandemic has been such a turn of events for every person. No one must have anticipated how the year 2020 would take a drastic 360-degree turn but as they say, whatever is supposed to happen will happen. Change is inevitable and we all need to adapt to those changes, even if we do not agree. My mother is Christian by faith, it was a yearly ritual for us to visit The Mount Mary Church in Bandra every 15 th  August. The church is so beautiful and peaceful. This day every year, we would wake up early morning to reach Bandra, hear the mass, be grateful for all that we have, and offer our wishes. I would not go home without taking a seat at Bandra Bandstand. It was the only time where we could enjoy the calm at Bandra as weekdays would not be apt for us. Nonetheless, if time permitted we would even roam around Bandra (for some shopping of course), that could not be missed at any cost. One thing that I realised was that ever
